Jon Baker-Hood, aka UpsideYourMind, is very busy keeping the good people of York dancing till the early hours at bars and events across the city - he's also a resident DJ at the ever-popular Sotano Bar in Little Stonegate.
Jon curates a weekly programme alongside Harkirit Boparai from the Ouroboros event promotion team. Their joint effort is called All Forms and it draws in music with a jazzy and contemporary edge from far and near.
Jon also archives the shows on his MixCloud page - why not go get a flavour now before diving into listening live?

Miles Nixon has been broadcasting at a variety of levels for some years. His easy-going style and attraction to music of all types from all cultures makes his weekly broadcast - Kinshasa Junction - a very enjoyable listen late into a Monday evening. Miles will also be appearing alongside other ¡TROPICA! DJs at our various events throughout the year.
Following-on from either Lu or Dave, Miles takes the listener from 10pm through till midnight and the rules are: There Are No Rules! (Back to Top)
Lu also DJs with Reaction Crew at Eden and Northern Green Gathering Festivals
A dedicated lifelong crate-digger, Lu plays a personal and very eclectic mix of soulful sounds, both remote and familiar, creating a truly Fabulous package of global grooves.
Lu's Lucky Dip
DrummieDave - Dave Atkin - presents his show opposite Lu's - on Mondays from 8 to 10pm. Compass Points operates an open borders policy musically - no stone unturned - if it's good it's in, with the accent on non-mainstream material.
Dave uses a knowledge garnered over decades working in the specialist music industry to create an engaging and interesting musical mix from both archive and contemporary recordings.
